The FBM KLCI staged a quick rebound as the key index recovered all its intraday losses, boosted by gains in gloves and Petronas-related heavyweights. Market breadth was indifferent as gainers nudged the losers on a ratio of 478-to-460 stocks. The construction sector (+1.1%) emerged as the biggest winner on the broader market, lifted by gains from Gamuda (+9.0 sen), Pintaras (+6.0 sen) and IJM (+4.0 sen).

The FBM KLCI started off the week on a dour note as the key index lingered in the negative territory for the entire trading session as the nation's economic recovery is marred by the re-implementation of Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) at Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya for 2 weeks. Market breadth turned negative as losers overtook the gainers on a ratio of 573-to-496 stocks. The healthcare sector (+2.5%) outperformed the mostly negative broader market, boosted by gains from Pharmaniaga (+50.0 sen), Supermax (+42.0 sen) and Kossan (+22.0 sen).

• One of the leading regional retailers of cosmetics and personal care ("CPC") products, under the brand; The Body Shop and Natura.
• Operates a total of 121 retail stores across West Malaysia, Sabah, Labuan, Vietnam and Cambodia with products also sold via selected third-party online stores such as Hermo, Tiki, Lazada and Shopee.
• Surge in e-commerce channel will continue to cushion the weakness from the retail stores channel over the foreseeable future.
• Technically, a flag-formation breakout above RM0.44 suggests for further upside that may drive share price towards the next resistances at RM0.475-RM0.495 with long term target at RM0.505.

Tracking the gains on Wall Street overnight, coupled with the higher commodity prices, the FBM KLCI ended the week on a buoyant mode after trending sharply higher in the second half of the trading session. Market breadth turned positive as gainers outpaced the losers on a ratio of 718-to-307 stocks. The broader market closed mostly higher, led by the energy sector (+1.0%) on gains from Heng Yuan (+3.0 sen), Petra Energy (+2.0 sen) and Carimin (+1.5 sen) due to the higher crude oil prices.
