Working Experience Mr Khet is currently Managing Director of Pan Malaysian Industries Berhad, Pan Malaysia Holdings Berhad and Pan Malaysia Capital Berhad. He started as an officer with Public Bank Berhad and Public Finance Berhad from 1970 to 1972.
From 1973 to 1977, he was an officer with Bank Bumiputra Malaysia Berhad (now known as Bumiputra-Commerce Bank Berhad).
After having served 7 years in the banking and finance industry, Mr Khet then joined Malayan United Industries Berhad as Executive Assistant to the Group Chief Executive.
After having held this post for 4 years, Mr Khet rejoined the banking industry in 1982 as Executive Director of MUI Bank Berhad (now known as Hong Leong Bank Berhad), after which, he was promoted to Joint Managing Director of the said bank until 1989.
Mr Khet has a total of 14 years experience in the banking and financial industry, with 7 years in the position of Executive Director/Joint Managing Director of MUI Bank Berhad (now known as Hong Leong Bank Berhad). Mr Khet subsequently served as President of the North American operations of The MUI Group in USA, and Managing Director of Morning Star Securities Ltd, Hong Kong.
