It's no wonder Warren Buffett loves bank stocks. The legendary billionaire investor has almost $50 billion of his $228 billion Berkshire Hathaway (NYSE:BRK.A) (NYSE:BRK.B) invested in this one industry.
The reason is simple: Bank stocks possess many of the Buffett must-haves. First, banks serve an important societal need that will never go away. Second, banking business models are relatively simple to understand. Third, despite the health of many banks improving dramatically since the 2008 financial crisis, some bank stocks are trading at a bargain -- a key indicator that now is the best time to invest.

if you focus on quality banks that have a strong history of managing risks and generating profits, banks can be excellent means of investing for the long term.

Pbb is for long term. Good dividend every year... If you accumulated every round of pullback during economy downturns, the capital gain also very good, your average holding also low, then you get high dividend yield. Not for short term trading.

U think that the banks belong to your grandfather ah ??

U think the government is your grandfather ah ??

If u have no financial problem , why u do not want to pay leh ??

If u have financial problem, propose & tell the bank and the bank will work out a formula to help u mah!

If u R useless & no hope better, better close shop and u do not need help, bcos it is a hopeless situation mah!

Other countries also do not have this kind of moratorium. Malaysians are well known as being bad paymasters.

Already long time our country is badly managed because of tongkat policy. Education, economy and development... All gone into drain. Only way to survive in this country is to get yourself financially independent. No eye to see.

A few IBs forecast KLCI to close at 1690 and 1780 in 2021.

On Friday 11/6 it closed 1575 with pbb at 4.21. By calculation, pbb will close between 4.52 and 4.76.... with another dividend payout in August.

That certainly looks very good to me. Pbb guarantees you sleep well at night. Just hold tight tight. Buy more if you can afford.

@1invest1 Agreed. Targeted moratorium is in place and is most appropriate for the economy.
