（吉隆坡23日讯）东洋创投（TOYOVEN，7173，主板工业股）与中国能源建设集团投资有限公司，签署投资和发展协议，探讨在越南后江省2座火力发电厂的投资合作与发展。

该公司周五向交易所报备，双方需先协商中国能源建设集团，购入东洋创投独资的Toyo Ink集团（简称TI集团）股权的详情，作为合作的前提；估计8个月内可完成。

TI集团是在2007年向越南政府提交电力厂项目，随后决定在Song Hau电力综合设施内，建筑两座以兴建、经营和转移（BOT）为主的电力厂；该综合设施占地117.39公顷。

随着电力厂和附属建设详情敲定，并获得越南政府批准，该项目整体投资额估计为32.43亿美元（约131.5亿令吉）。

截至去年底，东洋创投最初发展总成本约达3亿9190万令吉，当中3亿985万令吉是由大股东融资所得，余下则来自内部资金。
Toyo Ventures and Chinese partners plan to build power plants in Vietnam with 13.1 billion yuan
(Kuala Lumpur, 23rd) Toyo Ventures (TOYOVEN, 7173, main board industrial stock) and China Energy Construction Group Investment Co., Ltd. signed an investment and development agreement to discuss investment cooperation and development of two thermal power plants in Hou Giang Province, Vietnam.


The company filed with the exchange on Friday that the two parties need to negotiate with China Energy Construction Group to purchase the details of the Toyo Ink Group (TI Group) wholly-owned by Toyo Ventures as a prerequisite for cooperation; it is estimated to be completed within 8 months .




TI Group submitted the power plant project to the Vietnamese government in 2007, and then decided to build two power plants in the Song Hau power complex that mainly focus on construction, operation and transfer (BOT); the complex covers an area of ​​117.39 hectares.


With the details of the power plant and ancillary construction finalized and approved by the Vietnamese government, the overall investment in the project is estimated to be US$3.243 billion (approximately RM13.15 billion).


As of the end of last year, the total initial development cost of Toyo Ventures amounted to approximately RM391.9 million, of which RM39.85 million was financed by major shareholders, and the rest came from internal funds.
