![]() RJ87 This is what honest management do...they don't simply take loan, name it expansion and cannot pay later. This good management, even they hv cash cow...they quickly pay loan first before simply invest. Only monkey don't undrestand what's going on and kaw beh kaw bu low dividend. Sell faster sell... I bought CS 12sen. now can close position first...20% masuk pocket first. 03/03/2021 4:50 PM XxxxXzz Hope management can wisely use their fund to low down the finance cost then omce become free cash company then maintain a fixed payout ratio. Then remain cash earn may expand its business to contribute more profit in future. If management maintain profit 3xxm per year then the can settle within 2-3 year already mah even with minor dividend. but this is conservative method la more risky method is keep financing to generate more profit lor. 03/03/2021 8:49 PM pjseow When you look into details of Q4 financials, you can notice that the receivables were increasing from.Q1 199 million to Q4 307 millions. Also the Free cash flow for the whole year was only 293 millions. With a profit of about 323 millions for the whole year, the Free.Cash.Flow must be more than the earnings if you add back the depreciation which was paper lost only. The higher receivables showed that there was.a delayed cash payment of about 100 millions. If this 100 millions was not delayed, then the cash in bank would be 100 millions higher and recivables 100 millions lower. MFCB could have paid a higher dividend . 100 millions is equivalent to 20 cts per share. In business , there is 30 days, 45 days or 60 dsys payment term. Hopefully in coming year the cash flow received will be about 400 millions assuming no more increase in.receivables. 03/03/2021 9:23 PM KL886288 After meeting with management, Maybank upgraded the TP from $8 to $8.60 (whereas Public Investment Bank remained the TP as $8.62). 04/03/2021 10:43 AM gg0203 hi RJ87, thanks for the good explanation. Can i know whats your view or opinion on playing around with mfcb warrant since the price is volatile now? Thank you. a new bie here n not too clear with warrants appreciate help 04/03/2021 11:15 AM RJ87 Pushing down to collect by using "not paying reasonable dividend" as excuse. after collecting enough, the story becomes "Woah, management settle debts, more dividend" to sell. Ofcos, with different ID. If there is anything to learn from i3? that's when ppl with detailed information taking a position. When they say bad things, they want to buy. When they say good things. They want to sell. If they don't wanna buy or sell. They won't bother to say anything. =D 11/03/2021 10:06 AM gg0203 RJ87, do you think IB is pressing down price for incoming expiring warrant. seems like everytime after QR mfcb gets pressed down 12/03/2021 12:14 PM 778899 https://www.klsescreener.com/v2/news/view/801701?fbclid=IwAR246pYuI4TIfmv-keecr-bkoBYjGPwmK05kL56xbuFOioga5L8IEWMnweU 12/03/2021 9:23 PM ValueInvestor888 bought some at 7.02. After announcement of bonus issue and good results, price dropped from RM 8 to RM 7, like glove stocks. What is going on? 16/03/2021 3:11 PM ValueInvestor888 Market sentiment is quite bad, it is very funny that malaysian investors don't like bonus shares??? RM 7 is good value. 16/03/2021 3:15 PM pjseow Contrary to what many thought, the bonus issue does not help to increase the share price. Based on public latest report dated on the 8th March, the MFCB management.will not be resting on its laurel but will focus on.the growth of the packaging for the next 3 years. With the economic recovery post covid pandemic, the resource section.is expected to have higher earning. The 5th turbine is also expected to start work end of 2021. 18/03/2021 8:58 PM amet2017 Bonus issue is nothing la..sounds like bonus but not really a bonus. After bonus issue price will drop what, say 1:1 price after bonus issue will divide by 2. 18/03/2021 9:10 PM koowakzai Bonus issue is to increase liquidity. Malaysia retailer mentality like to trade penny stock. With share price being half. It will create ‘affordable’ sensation to some retailer. 18/03/2021 11:29 PM pjseow What drives the share prices are EPS, Growth rates, ROE, Cash Flow, PE.Ratio .,Dividend yield . In actual fact and by logic, bonus issue does not drive share prices . 19/03/2021 12:53 PM wcc636588 Hi Pj Seow , agree with your comments. If no traction from this stock how to make money . Hold for 1yr and make 0.50 / 1rm ? 19/03/2021 1:12 PM pjseow wcc, if you read public invest latest report dd 8th march, you can see what mfcb intend to do to improve earnings. 20/03/2021 12:22 AM MM78 With rising USD versus MYR lately, plus management comment on of better EAF in the Jan/Feb period YOY, we can expect better quarterly profit from Dong Sahong hydro plant. Current price is attractive with potential EPS in FY 21 more than 65 cents, I would add more if it drop further. Be patient, the letter from management posted by linjie on 03/03/2021 4:38 PM is quite informative on MFCB financial/ cash flow management. Thanks 22/03/2021 11:55 AM MM78 Share split date is yet to be declared, to me I see it has no intrinsic value adding except improve its liquidity to attract more transactions. 23/03/2021 12:58 PM pjseow MM78 , Public Invest estimated 73 s eps.for 2021 and dividend yield of 2.4 %. 25/03/2021 10:01 AM pjseow MFCB announced dividend Ex date on 7th April and payment date on 19th April. 25/03/2021 9:26 PM luckyman https://focusmalaysia.my/markets/us-investors-are-looking-to-utilities-stocks-to-weather-any-market-rout/ 27/03/2021 11:38 AM XxxxXzz Assume revenue 510m and profit 372m from Don sahong every year. First 5 year free tax, after 5 years assume tax rate same as Malaysia 24% 2021 to 2025 profit 372m x 5 =1.86b 2026 to 2046 profit 282m x 20 = 5.64b Total profit = around 7.5b in 25 years. Total liability only 962m right now. So what do u expect they do with those fund? Payout 100% like malakaoff? Then the share price drop to bottom fixed at 6 to 8% dividend yield price? Lol no way. Management wisely use those fund to expand the packaging sector, how we know will become second scientex or tguan those huge plastic company? Never blame the dividend yield too low or what for the growth company. If u don't believe management can wisely spend the profit to expand other business then just let go the share la. Goh family also own e&o mah, u can see those qr, a year better than a year. So when u wan select growth company, just ask urself believe the management or not lo. 07/04/2021 10:11 PM XxxxXzz I just put 20% fund into this stock lo, admit this stock really boring. No news won't up or down more than 2% pet day 08/04/2021 2:27 PM RainT Plastic packaging business is not so profitable It is high competition & materials price follow oil price if MFCB use the fund to venture to plastic segments , it is not a wise move 08/04/2021 2:44 PM RainT MFCB management should go and find another projects same as Don Sahong that give such a lucrative deals 08/04/2021 2:44 PM XxxxXzz Haha, u thought project same as Don sahong so easy find? Need how many resources and relationships to found the project from oversea government. If its easy, everyone go enter this venture already. 09/04/2021 8:28 AM XxxxXzz This stock for long term de la, if u search good return capital may look into new ipo stock, those just get money to expand business. Such as flexidynamic that kind. Since es cremaic growth so much this year, then flexi same as supplier of glove maker should earn huge profit coming too 09/04/2021 8:32 AM pjseow I think the Chairman does has good relationship with Cambodian PM . 85 % of Don.Sahong power is being sold to Cambodia . MFCB also had a land concessions of 9500 hectars planting coconuts. He also has a beer.business in.Cambodia. With proven record , We hope mfcb will.get another similar hydro power project in.Laos. 13/04/2021 4:27 PM pjseow Uplanet, Oh, I m not aware . The last time I talked to him was 20 years ago on D & O business when he told me.he had a beer business in Cambodia. I m not aware he had sold his business to Carlsberg. You are more updated . 13/04/2021 8:50 PM MM78 @pjseow MM78 , Public Invest estimated 73 s eps.for 2021 and dividend yield of 2.4 %. 25/03/20 Thank you for your update pjseow . It further confirms this is a steady investment at current price. 15/04/2021 5:09 PM ![]() ![]() | |
