![]() skybursa Factory still running during mco. Unless Factory are not allowed to operate which is unlikely. Should be better than Genting which depends on visitors. 11/01/2021 4:04 PM skybursa Most probably foreign funds keep selling Tenaga and MAYBANK today. Both heavy weight blue chips 11/01/2021 5:06 PM Mytime This is recovery stock. Stock that still can make money during mco. More users of electricity is a prove that economy are recovering. Stable dividend too 11/01/2021 7:40 PM Zhuge_Lin Not really. Business such as manufacturing, factory, shopping mall contribute 70% of the revenue while home user contribute 30%. So with business closing down or operate less capacity, it is bad for TNB. Furthermore, work from home is going to make TNB bleed further as home user are subsidise. Guess who is paying for the subsidise? 12/01/2021 4:29 AM Mytime Electricity subsidies ended on 31st December 2020.During mco in March to May 2020 tenaga still in profitable position although dropped in earnings. At that time the whole Malaysia under lockdown. Now not the entire nation. 12/01/2021 7:37 AM jonathanchee no point to collect tenaga above RM9, let it drop till 8.xx first, why not keep bullet to sapu bank stock if more dip? tenaga is dividend trap counter 12/01/2021 11:31 AM EEEEEEEEH Bank 2020 zero dividend & give angpow envelope only. Tenaga still have dividend. Your mind blind but eyes blind too? 12/01/2021 11:56 AM EDINVESTOR @Jonathan cheers bank dropped like he'll yesterday. Bank no dividend is a trap seems real. Tenaga kahzanah holding, EPF & pnb hold over 60% of TNB alone. Not to mention others institution's funds. 13/01/2021 7:40 AM MelonCheng It is hard to drop below rm10 i guess, as opposed to the 1st MCO, now factories and construction activities all are allowed to operate. 13/01/2021 10:54 AM DonWorryBeHappy Manage to grab some at 10.10 yest now ave 10.42, but why tenaga no power one 13/01/2021 12:53 PM MelonCheng Tenaga is a slow and stable stock. the growth could be very slow.... hmm mainly just to receive some dividend income 13/01/2021 2:03 PM aphrodite I think EPF is buying Tenaga for dividends too.. In the low RM10's is a good buy. Last year's dividend was RM0.92. If bought at RM10.22 (Today's price), the return is about 9%. Even without the special dividend, the return is still around 5% which is great. 13/01/2021 3:59 PM skybursa Is one of the largest blue chip heavy weight. Good cash flow & sustain dividend. Once foreign funds back , tenaga will be one of their favourites 13/01/2021 8:34 PM goreng_kaki mark my word, tenaga is a SHAME of bluechip, even worst than putting money in FD 14/01/2021 5:37 PM Mytime Goreng kaki tenaga is a safer bet than GENM which every quarter at loss. Cash flow was ugly. Cash reserves are depleting. Brainless investors like you think you are smart. Don't worry I don't own any tenaga. Just to share my thoughts about you Hahaha 14/01/2021 6:07 PM GL8888 I bought tenaga at 10.76 few years ago. I hold it like fixed deposit. Wait for dividend. Tough year, MCO - have to give rebate to all customers 14/01/2021 10:07 PM sharez tenaga always good to accumulate more. more like a FD for many with good dividens 14/01/2021 11:01 PM mroys74 for accounting or financial reporting purposes, billions dollars hydropower assets were 'treated' similar to coal/gas fired power plant in term of depreciation and specific plant retirement period. In real case, these hydropower plant will be continue generating incomes to tnb after the so-called retirement date. And not to forget, the national grid belongs to tnb, all LSS must be connected to the grid to reach the consumers. tnb is still monopoly the energy business with the vast assets. 15/01/2021 9:50 AM MorningGlory123 May I know what is the best advise for the current market now. Seem market already factored in the negative news for the past few days, shall I start to slowly accumulate to buy now? Thanks for the best guidance 15/01/2021 11:55 AM DonWorryBeHappy But hor all IB top picks for 2021 got Tenaga in their portfolios, why still no up, who's selling? 16/01/2021 12:20 AM ATSK IB usually does that, give buy signal then dump the price further down. Just to eat up retailers portion who are with unstable hands. Y worry, when tenaga now is cheap. It around Mar lows dy how low can it go further? The most is 9.50. But i doubt that since the economic condition is way btr now and LHDN issue partially resolved. IB use the news on LHDN tax to create panic. Most ppl holding high will be scared, thinking of selling now and buying lower. Unless we can perfectly time the market, its quiet impossible. I tried that strategy before and most of the time it went back up above the price i cut loss. So the btr bet is to stay the course. 16/01/2021 11:14 AM jeffchan1901 yup, I double my investment in TnB.. even my remisier says is good time to buy as he bought some himself 16/01/2021 12:19 PM jeffchan1901 guys, my remisier reckons the low price as they said the CEO changed which are all political appointments. unlike other big companies, the CEO is capable Lee. market is cautious but that doesn't change the fact that Tenaga is a monopoly and stable company 16/01/2021 3:01 PM ![]() ![]() | |
