Something very very wrong would have happened to DNex & I would not want to own it anymore... and I will sell all at .50 to you with a whamming 40% profits.... your .50 are the spill over foods of many of us here. We started accumulating since dec 2020 & jan 2021 when DNex was 21 Sens and WD was at 5 to 7 Sens....that was the time SilTerra accusation news was released. Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing, one of the companies best positioned to know the outlook for the chip shortage that is hitting the auto industry, had good news and bad news this week. On a conference call held Thursday to discuss Taiwan Semi’s (ticker: TSM) quarterly results, CEO C.C. Wei said the shortage has gotten worse due to the snowstorm and freezing temperatures that hit Texas in February and “the fab manufacturing disruption in Japan,” an apparent reference to a fire that struck a major chip factory there last month. Chips of many types could remain generally scarce until 2022, he said. The good news, however, is that Taiwan Semi sees the situation for automotive chips in particular largely resolving itself by the end of the third quarter. “Together with our productivity improvement, we expect the automotive component shortage from semiconductor to be greatly reduced for TSMC’s customer by the next quarter,” the CEO said. Both Ford Motor (F) and General Motors (GM), along with many other auto makers, have idled production at some plants as they wait for parts. He said DNex has great potential and current price is not reflective of its intrinsic value. He too opined that someone is restricting the upward price movement for reason(s) known only to ‘inner circles’. Nevertheless he thinks DNex has found a strong foundation price at 80sen and once matters are cleared it will go up to RM1.10 first resistance level. If this is broken then the next level of is RM1.50 DNex will complete the acquisitions of both Ping and SilTerra before end of 2nd quarter of 2021 ie by June. Both these 2 acquisitions are brilliant purchases. Dnex is acquiring an additional 60% of the issued share capital in Ping Petroleum Ltd for US$78 million (RM314.3 million), as the group looks to further strengthen its presence in the upstream oil and gas (O&G) segment. The transaction price for the 60% stake represents a discount of around 40% of the market valuation of Ping’s proved and probable (2P) reserve. The purchase will be satisfied by a combination of US$40.95 million (RM165.0 million) in cash, and the issuance of new ordinary shares in DNeX and new redeemable preference shares in its wholly owned unit DNeX Energy Sdn Bhd, for the remaining US$37.05 million (RM149.3 million). Purchase at 40% discount - now realising the full benefit especially with rise in oil prices. SilTerra is another strategic buy as demand for chips will increase with EV cars, Smart phones, smart devices, IoT etc. He says look at Proton. Proton was a ‘sick man’ until Geely came in and today Proton is super healthy. The same will happen to SilTerra and at a faster pace as SilTerra has already established itself in the world market but needs more production capacities and innovation. DNex and CGP Fund have committed to a capital injection of at least RM200 million. From the capital injection, approximately RM150 million will be mainly utilised as to upgrade SilTerra’s equipment and manufacturing capabilities in new technologies. In order for uptrend mode, DNeX must pass the hurdle 87 sen first. To further confirm uptrend, the best is for DNeX to stay above 98 sen. Your statement is as good as telling a rocket scientist that TODAY is SATURDAY , and yesterday was FRIDAY. In order to welcome MONDAY, then we must go thru SUNDAY first.
